TYC  RACING SEASON FINAL

TYC sailors completed a very successful racing season on August 25. Again, TYC joined forces with the Spar Island Racing Association (SIRA) which made for larger classes and more spirited racing.

There were 6 boats in Class A with  Dave Saurette’s “Seraphim” winning first place. Chuck Saccardo in “Odraccas won second and John Brady in “’R BUOY” took third. All were TYC boats.

There were 11 boats in Class B. First place went to Andromeda, a SIRA boat skippered by Dave Prichard. Second place went to October, also a SIRA boat skippered by Colby Smith and third place went to Persephone a TYC boat skippered by Bill Sherden.

In class C 6 boats competed and the winner was “Clank”, a TYC boat skippered by Joe Boivin of TYC. Second went to “Ellen M” skippered by Al Donaghay of SIRA  and third went to “Banshee II” skippered by  Richard Fournier of TYC
