Zoners made right call for beleaguered Tiverton Yacht Club

To the editor:

Hurrah for the Tiverton Zoning Board of Review. It’s about time there was some reason and justice exercised in favor of the Tiverton Yacht Club and mostly the children of Tiverton. Too long have the Rhode Island courts allowed the likes of Campbell and Moran to bully the members of the TYC and non-waterfront residents of Tiverton. It appears to me that this is a classic NIMBY story and just another attempt to prevent waterfront access to the residents of Tiverton.

What’s really telling is that the RI courts seem to have been a party to this whole farce. Too bad it’s all been at the loss to many. I’d expect these kind of shenanigans in Barrington, but in Tiverton?

Doesn’t Campbell have anything else to do with his law license but harass the TYC and the residents of Tiverton?

Money and influence have a way turning an odd picture, truth and a story all around. Just see what it’s done to the TYC!
